She added “We discovered that the gangs were not up for any good when a section of them confronted our aging father and wrestled him to the ground severally bruising him badly on his ankles before tying him on acacia tree as if he was a cow for sale before the other men surrounded us and ordering us to undress for them. Some touting us that, it will be our D-day with men”,

She said the gang turn furious and forcibly undress her first before raping her under the watch of her father and younger sister. My father pleaded with them to kill him instead of humiliating him by doing despicable action to his defenseless girls under his gaze.

“I was about to raise a distress alarm when I felt a strong hands clutch on my mouth before I was dragged to the thorny ground. Another group at the same time descended on my already traumatized younger sister. She was equally wrestled to the ground and repeatedly raped like me in turn by the vicious attackers,” She recounted of the traumatizing experience while wiping tears from blurry eyes.

Writhing in agonizing pain the younger victim interjects “They tied our father’s hands together backward before tying him his back lying upright on the acacia tree. They then subdivided themselves into two groups and started raping us in turn and swapping us. Each of the rapists has "passed" us,”

She added “Some of the assailants hold us on our legs pressed down to the ground, while one among the gang raped us before giving a chance to his colleague.

The police P3 form and medical report from Bura dispensary, where they were attended to before they were transferred for specialist treatments to Garissa referral hospital confirms of rape and torture met against girls.

“These girls are very traumatizing because of what they underwent at the hands of their assailants. This matter shouldn’t be allowed to be handled by village elders for remedy. The culprits most pay for their heinous crimes as provided by the laws” added the Children activist.
