WAS THE TERROR SUSPECT, A LAWYER???

One of the terrorists who attacked Garissa University College, which led to the massacred of 148 students and injuries of over 90 others is reported to be a promising lawyer from a prominent university in the Country.

The slander and youthful man on his late 20th is alleged to have completed his law degree from Nairobi University between 2012 and 2013 and later disappear and his name to resurface after the freshly killed bodies of terror suspect were circulated in the social media.

The deceased pictures showing him sleeping inside a pool of blood and dressed stripped shirt, black trousers and a dark belt and a gun under his left hand, has been identified as Abdirahman Abdullahi Mohamed, a former student in a Nairobi secondary school.

He said to have done his KCPE at Mandera DEB and his KCSE at Wamy secondary in South C and got a starling A- before proceeding to Nairobi University, Kabete campus where he has completed his law and his described as extremely bright student by those who know him during his schools days.

According to a the presumed relative of the deceased who spoke to Standard on phone from Mandera on the condition of anonymity said the boy went missing shortly after completing his lawyer degree a fact the family said they have reported to the Mandera police station.

"We have a son who has been missing since 2013. We have reported to the police over his disappearance, if it is true his one among the killed terrorists, we wished worse should have happened to him. We pray he pays for callous sins of afterlife", the family source added.

He added "As family we are not bother about his death. We are shocked over the number of innocent promising human souls; they have cut short in most brutal way and bad name they attracted to the family. We mourn with the families who lost their loves one in hands of the terrorist",

A former schoolmate in Mandera said they were stunned by the reports that he was among those who massacred students in Garissa. "I knew him as an innocent boy, who loved playing football when in school. I wonder how with all his promising future he fall into the snare of blood-thirsty criminals", He said.

On Saturday evening after Garissa police displayed four bodies of people believed to behind the worst terrorist attack meted on innocent students at the only public university in north eastern region.

The bloated and partially decomposing naked bodies of the killed gangs were, were briefly put on a public display on Saturday afternoon by the police for public viewing and identification, however the bodies were hurriedly taken back to the Garissa referral hospital morgue after members of the public curious to see the bodies overwhelmed the Garissa primary playing field, where the bodies were brought on an open van.

North-Eastern region criminal investigations officer, Musa Yego confirmed that they were following some information in the public domain claiming that one of the terrorists has been positively identified as a son of a senior chief in Mandera County.

"We are following some unconfirmed reports by the public that one of the bodies was that of a missing son of a chief in Mandera town, our officers in Mandera are investigating the matter, but it's too early to speculate who the terrorists were. We are in the preliminaries in our investigations", He added while speaking on phone.

The decomposing and naked bodies of terrorists suspect were driven on a pick up vehicle whose rear door was thrown open from Garissa referral hospital to the Garissa primary school playing ground, an area of about a half a kilometer.

However, the bodies were rushed back to the hospital morgue dangling from the speeding open vehicle after the huge crowds of people turn up at the playing field almost causing stampede.

Some of members of the public at the same time gave a chase too the speeding vehicle while taking photos with their telephone handset.
Residents however faulted the police over the display because of what they argued that terror group may next time attack with a lot of anger towards their victims.

Garissa OCPD Benjamin Ong'mbe said the aim of bring the bodies to the public was for identification of the deceased but residents turn in large number than the way they were anticipated.

He said "We just thought we needed the public to see the bodies so that they can help in identifying them, but that turned out to be impossible after a huge number of people that we never anticipated turn up for the viewing",
Police had difficulty controlling the public after they chased the speeding vehicles to the Garissa Referral hospital while at the same time jamming the busy Kismayu road.
